I am primarily a vocalist/keyboardist and play acoustic guitar well. I write as well and although I can't really compare my style to anyone, it's probably closest to the Progressive influences I grew up with, with a classical sensibility here and there.
I love improvisation and can spend long periods just "winging it" on keyboard, mostly in a contemplative style. I love acoustic music too...some early Paul Simon, most of Cat Stevens, and also enjoy creating acoustic versions of pieces that I love to sing, for instance, I do a few acoustic covers of some Doors songs like Crystal Ship, 20th Century Fox, Yes the River Knows, etc. as well as various other artists.

Influences
Early progressive music: Genesis (Mainly Peter Gabriel era), ELP, Jethro Tull, Yes, King Crimson, to name a few. The Doors, Cat Stevens (huge fan), and acoustic music in general.
I also love some New wave such as Duran Duran, Devo, and various others.
