It's a great thing to be paid to do what you love and the money sure helps... but I do it first and foremost because I love it. I've done this long enough to have given up on the pipe dream aspects of being a musician or expecting some windfall of attention/money. I just want to get out there, have fun, and in turn get the audience to have fun as well. Though with the pandemic, it's almost as if someone upstairs gave the big middle finger to the live entertainment industry.

I'm looking for (or to start from the ground up) an original (minimal covers) project that will be extremely strong on vocal harmonies, with a darker bluesy/acoustic edge. Though this is more likely a charted course than an actual end point. As you likely know, most projects start out with one or two themes in mind and then up in a completely different hemisphere. But, as an overall direction, the above stated fits where I'd like to begin. A lot just depends on who comes on board and where those influences take us.

I don't do drugs (aside from caffeine and nicotine), I don't drink to excess, and my ego is in check. I prefer to work with collaborative, intelligent, like-minded people.

Influences

Just as a brief snapshot; NOT in any particular order... Tool, Stone Temple Pilots, Zac Brown Band, Pink Floyd, Staind, Sevendust, Tom Petty, Coheed and Cambria, SRV, Disturbed, Flogging Molly, Taproot, Alice In Chains, Chris Stapleton, A Perfect Circle, Three Doors Down, Stephen Stills, Andy McKee, Jason Isbell, Aaron Lewis... it's a LONG and eclectic list that will just give you a facial tick if I listed it all out. Basically, anything thought provoking with bluesy undertones and a strong melodic / emotive quality.
