I've played drums on and off for 10+ years. I haven't played consistently in a while and am looking for intermediate/advanced level musicians to play with -- nothing too serious at first, but if things gel it'd be nice to play out. I love to play anything with an interesting groove and lean towards jazz, hip hop, funk, and select electronic music.

Influences
Looking to get in with some folks who're interested in playing chilled-out, groove-centered music. Think Tycho, Thievery Corporation, Bonobo, etc., but would also love to play live-band hip hop (somewhere in the vein of A Tribe Called Quest or Pete Rock and CL Smooth -- or experimental conscious-flow/poetry hip hop). Would love to work with bassist/keyboard/horn section/dj combination.
Influences are wide and include the above listed and most groups with genuine musicianship. My interests spread between everything from Snarky Puppy to the Tin Hat Trio, Davis to Poco, MF Doom to (early) Modest Mouse.
