Have transportation;looking for a working band. Drummer Calvin Wallace is a technician who likes the basics, or the pocket. Calvin started playing at age 7, listening to artists such as Billy Cobham and Buddy Rich. He cut his teeth playing with bands Total Eclipse and Nature's Gift; in addition to playing with the Nassau Community College Latin Jazz Band, under the direction of Carlos Castillo. Calvin went on to perform on the road with R&B singer, Joe Simon, and to this day continues to challenge himself artistically. With many years in the business, Calvin thinks of one thing, making the music work! His mottos are: stay focused; hit and hit hard; teamwork makes the dream work!
