The Weather People, a horn quartet led by trombonist Cam Millar, will perform three concerts the last weekend in June in Hagerstown, Frederick, and Boonsboro. The events are free of charge, and feature Millar along with Howard Burns on saxophone, Anita Thomas on saxophone, and Adam Hanlin on trumpet. Catch this innovative group on Saturday, June 26 at 3:00 pm at University Plaza, 50 West Washington Street, Hagerstown; on Sunday, June 27 at 2:00 pm at the Carroll Creek Trellis, Frederick; and on Sunday, June 27 at 7:00 pm at the Shafer Park Gazebo, Boonsboro.

Defying genres, The Weather People perform an eclectic mix of jazz, funk, Latin, rock, and nouveau classical music. The original tunes, composed by Millar, are inspired by James Brown, Blood Sweat and Tears, Tito Puente, Mozart, and more! Everyone who attends will receive a discount voucher for The Weather People’s upcoming BandCamp album capturing the unique sounds of this group.

The performances are supported in part by the Maryland State Arts Council (msac.org).
