I’m a sophomore in college and I am looking for an outlet to play drums since I’m not currently able to keep any in my apartment. School is my number one priority, however I don’t mind setting aside a night to playing a gig if needed to, or just jamming causally/practicing. As mentioned already, I don’t have a drum set to practice on, but I do have drum pads and I have a pretty keen ear of listening to the beats and certain “notes” I would have to play.

Influences
My high school percussion teacher:
Who taught me everything I needed about the basics of rhythm, time keeping, and developed my hand chops. However, specifically for heavy metal, I don’t have the fastest feet in the world, nor have I ever played with double bass pedals, but I feel like I could easily pick up on it the same way I did with my hand chops.

Avenged Sevenfold
Foo Fighters
Slipknot
Breaking Benjamin
Green Day
Various other metal bands
