I'm seeking bold and original collaborations, in person or remote. I can record audio or video tracks.
NOTE: If you are here looking for a 'Metal' collaborator: Djent metal, Nu Metal/Rap metal, Prog metal, and maybe sludgy metal if it's funky. These are the "heavy" styles in my repertoire. I'm not a classic metal player, just funky, chuggy, fusiony, maybe mathy.
Here's a full list of the other styles/modes I can collaborate in, given bandmix only allows four:
I'm ready to go in each of these modes: Jazz/Bop/Swing, Rockabilly/Blues, Funk/Shuffle/Greazy, Smooth Jazz, Reggae, Djent Metal, Prog Metal, Rap-Metal/Nu-Metal, Rap/Breaks/Hip Hop, Breakbeat/Trap/Dubstep
In particular I'm seeking a skilled funk slap bass player, a skillful jazz piano/key player, and/or a Djent rhythm guitarist, 7 or 8 string. With a partner I can begin building a repertoire of ridiculous vamps, upon which we will create fusion ensembles later on.
I already have a thousand filthy slap bass vamps and snorting poly-djent rhythms in my head. I just need a bass or guitar shredder to come apply a key and play this stuff in real time.
Eventually I want to form a power fusion play-out group, so if you are local to me feel free to hit me up for a real live shed session. We can rent a cool jam studio in SoDo Seattle.
I apologize if there are volume and clipping issues in my sound files. These samples were originally for demonstrating skill as a drummer, not as a mixer. I'm learning and adjusting with my new recording devices as I go. This won't be an issue during our collaborations.
Hit me up by typing "01rhythm" at Gee Mail.
