Cole Carson, 29, former drummer for RCA records recording artist "Weathers", lives in Hollywood, California and is a graduate of Musicians Institute's drum performance program with the coveted most outstanding drummer award for his class.. Cole was honored to win the Paiste Cymbal Musicians Institute scholarship and endorsement award of which only one was awarded to the entire freshmen class at MI! He is also pleased to continue his private drum study with his mentor and friend, Glen Sobel, MI guest instructor and touring drummer for musical icon Alice Cooper. As Keta's drummer Cole also had the great experience of opening for Sam Smith 4 times!

Prior to his move to California, Cole had a very productive summer touring with up and coming country singer Charissa Mrowka and her band Country Cross. With over 30 performances throughout the Midwest, Cole's band was fortunate enough to open for such great country stars, as , Randy Houser, Tracy Lawrence, Hunter Hayes, Leann Rimes, Jerod Niemann, Phil Vassar, Darius Rucker and Florida-Georgia Line to name a few. Charissa & Country Cross were thrilled to record an original song "Go Further" for Ford Motor Company for their "Ford Night at the Fair" summer festival tour.

During his high school years Cole competed in athletics as the quarterback and captain of the Illinois State ranked football team and starting shooting guard on the basketball team. He was honored to be selected by his peers as the Homecoming King for Illini West 2011/2012. He also starred to rave reviews as "The Beast" in Illini West's musical performance of “Beauty and the Beast".

Since he got his 1st snare drum at age 7, Cole has loved percussion and has been playing seriously ever since. He was captain of his high school drum line receiving numerous musical awards including the coveted "John Phillip Sousa award" for most outstanding band member his senior year. Cole has performed in a number of bands, ensembles and tribute shows including the highly regarded "A Christmas Wish" Trans Siberian Orchestra cover Christmas show for three seasons. At 16 Cole won the Quad Cities Area Guitar Center Drum Off competition with his Harley Davidson drum solo he called "The Ride" moving on to Minneapolis national qtr finals. Cole at 18 again won the Quad City Drum off title moving on once again to the quarter finals.

Cole and his good friend videographer, Austin Thompson, have collaborated on several videos consisting of numerous genres/drum covers/solos, of his drumming. With many videos received thousands of views, one is over 250,000 view to date. Please review to the links below.
