29, been playing (guitar) since I can remember. Into all types of music. Rock is the ultimate/hard rock. I love metal music as well just none of that blast beat bullsh*t. Can’t even breathe listening to that garbage. I’m currently in a cover band playing a lot of 90’s (Alice in chains, Pearl Jam, STP, Soundgarden/audioslave, etc) also lots of Pink Floyd.
Looking to join or start a band with like minded individuals who will respect the songs we play instead of the “good enough” attitude. I also would prefer people who would like to write original songs. Covers are a lot of fun but something is very unfulfilling playing another persons material. But it’s also enjoyable to make my own solos in certain songs so I feel at least some kind of originality.
We’ve done plenty of gigs. I’ve got my own equipment. no worries there.
