ABOUT

Play music just as much for fun as for work
I play bass like a BASSIST instead of like a guitarist who thinks he know the bass. I have played out with different AUTHENTIC genres for a long time and I show up knowing my materials.
I do not BS people and I will tell you honestly if I can learn the material fast enough to help you and I have no problem referring someone who might help you more.
I have been teaching guitar and bass for 38 years
Worked for all music publishers as both freelance and corporate for over 20 years and that brought my level of detail and accuracy for cover songs up significantly along with direct contact with original artists.
Performances range from dozens of cover and original bands plus solo classical and casuals
I am glad to work with people who are amateurs as well as professionals as long as you know how to work with professionals. If you only gig once or twice a month at the most, then you should know not to expect exclusivity. If you want multiple rehearsal per week with no gig in sight, then you are mixing rehearsals with practice and that is not considerate of other players' time, If you are spacing out on songs because you want to start rehearsals by partying first, then you are not respecting your band-mates time and effort. If these are patterns that you cannot let go of, then we will not work out.
