ABOUT

A natural blend of work ethic, technical ability, and musicality, Colin has been defined by his shear dedication to his craft. Coming from humble beginnings working with his hands, He purchased hist first acoustic kit at age 18 using his very first full 40hr week paycheck. His practice schedule would quickly become 3 hour long sessions, almost daily. Colin would eventually go on to study under Bill Elliot, who is a current and active drummer in the United States Army Field Band, and the head of the percussion department at Essex Community College. Colin studied percussion and focused in areas such as Afro-Cuban, jazz, big band and African polyrhythm. His influences range from the thunderous John Bonham and Ginger Baker to the funk pioneering Ziggy Modeliste, as well as jazz legends Buddy Rich, Joe Morello, and Gene Krupa. Outside of music, Colin is a hard working electrician and loving father, who enjoys spending time with his family and playing ice hockey with friends.
