SEEKINGBand to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keyboard.
Groove-type drummer into pop, alternative, rock, and modern heavy rock. I am into anything from Lifehouse and Collective Soul; to Seether and Breaking Benjamin; to Chevelle and Stone Sour. I am open to joining a band on the side. The band I drum for currently doesn't gig very often. I am NOT into christian music.
I prefer to rehearse once a week - sometimes twice when necessary. I am looking to gig approximately 4 to 8 times a month. I do prefer paying gigs, but sometimes the venue or situation will dictate what I am willing to do. It's nice to make some cash now and then to replace sticks, heads, cymbals, etc...
I would love to play originals or cover songs, but am open to most situations.

I appreciate drummers that add to a song... accent with it... not solo over it. I have too many favorites to mention.
I am not into blast beats or meaningless kick/tom rolls. I do like to flavor songs with some double kick, but prefer to add spice with dynamics and originality.
