I am primarily an unclean vocalist. I have gotten quite good at false chord guttural vocals, and my lows have a range from something akin to Johan Hegg to something more like Phil Bozeman.. My high is similar to Phil's and Scott's from Carnifex, an almost screech that is admittedly very creepy, which can be good for certain sections of songs. My technique is good enough that it doesn't hurt my throat so my voice should have a long shelf life. While I can sing cleanly, it is really unpolished at the moment, as I only recently learned how. For at least a year I would only be comfortable doing cleans for a verse or two and not the whole song till I can grow my clean singing skill, but I'm interested in making music with the vocals primarily derived from death metal or death metal-inspired acts, with cleans used to create a musical duality to highlight a lyrical duality, although a Wage War style vocal tag team would be fun too. Maybe even a rapper, I do enjoy some quality rap rock. I'm pretty new to this, but I got a great attitude and I'd love to get together and make some music.
