ABOUT

The Compassion Band is a collective of contemporary Christian musicians based in Effingham County. We are seeking talented, dedicated musicians to add to our "already-excellent line up." Who are we? We are many things. Here are just a few:

We are a worship team: we lead worship at the Effingham Campus of Savannah Christian Church. SCC is a growing church of 9,000 in the savannah area. Each one of our five venues including the Effingham Campus is equipped with professional sound and lighting and offers musicians a chance to grow their abilities both on and off the platform.

We are a band: we play large events throughout the Savannah area. you can hear us in the St. Patrick's Day Parade, at The Journey, or at any number of SCC's conferences including the Pivot Mens Conference and the Next Level Leadership Conference.

We are artists: We have a fully operational recording studio and professional sound engineers who always make us sound our very best. We are constantly looking for new projects to work on and new people to create with.

Finally and most importantly, we are Christians. We believe that the local church is the hope of the world and we want to equip the church with excellent worship leaders so that Jesus will be known in our area. We want to lead people to a life changing connection with Jesus through music.
