ABOUT

I'm mostly a metal and hard rock kind of guy. Big Dethklok / Metalocalypse fan who loves harmonizing guitars, melodies, and orchestral sounds in metal. Looking to collaborate with at least one other person and create some cool stuff. I've been doing a bit of home recording / mastering myself writing all of the material though mic, guitar, bass, POD HD, Cubase and drum plugins. I feel like my next step is to work with someone else to drive my growth as a musician and hopefully make some great sounding music we'll all enjoy.

Vocally, I can do guttural Explosion type vocals and some Galakikon type stuff but really don't know if me doing vocals is key to my musical vision. I have not been in a band formally but have some jamming experience. I would generally classify my rhythm playing as pretty good. I have some technical lead playing ability such as scale runs, but I am significantly better at sweeping and arpeggiated tapping. Hoping work with others will drive my musicianship to a higher level here. My understanding of theory is better than some but I've not had any formal schooling or training here.
