Hello, as I wholeheartedly take the utmost position of taking on the electric bass, Conflict Ahead, a chaotic or technical heavy/thrash/stoner metal stylistic approach act with ORIGINAL SONGS, wants you to audition for the part of electric guitar(s) (2 players), vocals (vocal and electric guitar duties simultaneously are a bonus as well), and drums. Nevertheless, there are blueprint criteria before hitting Conflict Ahead up. In fact, there's no pressure to be put on the musicians.
Minimum requirements;
- The standard age of 18 through 30 years old. That especially goes for those about to turn 31 years old because the chances are narrowly slim.
- Have their own means of transportation (in other words, have their own car or other means like public transportation -- Uber and Lyft are strongly discouraged)
- Have a thrifty stable income of ≥$2000 a month. You don't have to disclose your personal finances. It's totally none of my business altogether.
- Excellent savvy knowledge of the local punk/hardcore/reggae scene. DIY is the motto beyond the spectrum of punk.
- Keep egos out of the rehearsal space, on one hand. Keep that stuff, on the other hand, out of the rehearsal space. This is a musicians safe space and, therefore, I pray diligently for everyone to have fun playing.
- No booking a gig without the groups consent without the groups final decision. Everyone here has a vivid, colorful, and amazing voice to be heard nonetheless.
- Have their own gear. (It doesn't have to be anything fancy but don't get high hopes for gear to borrow, either)
- Have a scrumptious appetite of influence or better understanding of the selective, impulsive, and spearheaded style of play for at least the music of Minor Threat's Discography, Motörhead's Rock n Roll (especially the song "Just 'Cos You Have the Power"), Annihilator's Alice in Hell, and Priestess' Hello Master. We don't want Conflict Ahead to get aimlessly bombarded with one too many different vivid styles of music that you respectfully vibe to, either.
- Can keep up to a beat of around 200bpm. Nothing more or less.
- Have an available slot for weekends only. Either Saturday or Sunday works well for me.
