ABOUT

Played bass in a HS orchestra for 7 years. I’ve played guitar for longer than that, but due to my time in orchestra I’m more talented/experienced as a bass player. I'm pretty solid on bass, but of course there's always room to improve! Mostly I’m looking for a group that may practice a couple times a week to get some experience, and if we play any gigs that's great too. The only genres I wouldn’t want to play is heavy metal (anything more than Judas Priest type rock), or rap.

Influences

Favorite band is The Who with Led Zeppelin coming in second. After that is a mix of many different bands. My favorite genre is classic rock, but I will listen to every genre pre-2000’s. Anything after 2000 I tend to dislike. I love how The Who’s bassist (John Entwistle) plays his bass as almost a lead guitar, and I think one of the best early examples of this is the song “Substitute”.
