My name is Connor Trietsch. I'm 19 years old and have been playing for about 9-10 years. I live in Newbury Park, CA in Ventura County. I started taking lessons at Rock Nation Music School and developed performing skills as well. I joined a local band with some friends from the school in late 6th grade. We were a Hard Rock band by the name of Vertical Twist. I left that band after some personal issues and went on to form a Punk Rock style band called Sonic Deception. My leave from this group was over some creative differences; I just wasn't feeling it anymore. After some time however, I joined the band Slatr on their California Warped Tour 2012 dates and played in Irvine, Pomona, San Francisco, my hometown, and San Diego. The original Lead Guitarist eventually quit shortly after the tour and I stepped in as Lead. We played Sunset Sessions two years in a row (2012, 2013), We played The Sunset Marquis 50th Anniversary Show, and a Warped Tour date in Dallas, Texas. We recorded a EP titled the "Hey You EP," which we tracked at The Village Recorder and was produced by Ryan Hewitt. Our final show was the Sunset Marquis. We had dissolved. I eventually started a Metalcore band with a few friends called Half Past The Revolution. We played locally in LA and Ventura and released a few songs. I had quit over creative differences, I was getting more into Jazz Fusion and other types of genres which led me to be open to other music out there. I'm currently working with a new band at the moment and we're recruiting musicians and getting ready to record an album in our drummer's studio. I'm looking for Part-time gigs that will give me more experience, more exposure, and extra money in my pocket. Willing to play in background bands, recording sessions, or just gigs. Open to anything.
