Hi, I'm Donny and I've been playing music for quite a while now. I was a Teacher at a local music shop back home in North Carolina. I'm well educated in music theory, well trained, and disciplined on my instrument. I love any genre of music.

EQUIPMENT
***************AMPS****************
Splawn 120W Pro Mod custom made amp head with KT88 tubes and Heyboer transformers.
Splawn custom made 4x12 cabinet w/ Eminence Governors and Eminence Man-o-war speakers in an "x" pattern.
**************Guitars**************
Gibson Les Paul Classic w/ stock pickups
Ibanez Presitge S series w/ handmade Bareknuckle pickups
Ibanez 1989 RG 550 w/ Dimarzio Breed pickups
Fender Mexi Telecaster (This one is an odd piece. I think the body is from warmoth, but the neck is off an old mexi Tele. Sounds great though, so I keep it around)
Alvarez Artist series acoustic. (I found this in a pawn shop I worked at, so I picked it up for really cheap. I was sold on it after the first G chord I hit on it. It can hang with some lower model Martin and Taylor's.)
POD XT (I don't like to use effects too much, but I have just in case. Some people get pretty picky with that sound they want.)
Several other effects, power conditioners, digital recording gear.

I wrote this song for a band I played with back in North Carolina. I recorded guitars with my splawn amp and cabinet and all rhythm guitars were done with my Les Paul classic. The solo section was done with my Ibanez Prestige S. This song showcases quintuplet sixteenth notes, (groupings of five sixteenth notes in a single beat) some arpeggios and some tricky picking spots.
