Influences
As far as mandolin I'm influenced by David Grisman and Bill Monroe. But I like reggae and punk and try to play all the songs I can. Don't just want to play bluegrass. Like Janis Joplin to Bela Fleck to Stefan Grapelli and Phish and classical too. Have gotten into playing Irish songs from there being quite a bit for mandolin. Had a hard time picking 3 genres on the list. Anyone likes me first and the gimme gimmes I'm in. I really like their ability to cover any song and make it punk. I grew up mostly listening to punk and ska and reggae but have expanded out.
