Have been around the music business my entire life. Took a break from it for about 17 years and I am now returning after a stint serving our country. I am looking at easing back into performing and recording. I may use the same musicians for both but it will be a decision for a later time. Right now I am looking to form a good solid country band that can start playing local venues and move on to touring the country after we are all comfortable with each other. I would like to start with a solid guitarist working a few gigs and then move on to grab the rest of the pieces we need. I plan on 1 weekend of gigs a month to start with possible out of town work needed in Nashville and other parts of the country. Pay will be limited starting but it should grow as we gain momentum and exposure. My family has been doing this a while but we can talk about that later.

You name any country artist before 1998 and I have either heard their music, I may have met them, or I may have worked around them.

I am partial to singing more 1990's style country music but I occasionally dip into the late 1960's - 1979.

George Strait, Clint Black, Vince Gill, Johnny PayCheck, George Jones, Hank Williams Sr, Buck Owens, Faron Young, Ray Price.

Starting to like a little bit of Cody Johnson. Looking musicians that want to continue country music in the traditional sense, to include performing some of my own material as well as covers...don't worry we will start with covers.
