Hi. my name is Courtney Brooke! I am 38 years old and I have been born to sing. It all started when I was a little girl. It was like magic and all I remember is I could sing so. I I did. When I was little I would find a female record or tape like Whitney, Jewel, Celine, No Doubt, Pink, Mariah, Dixie Chicks and lock myself in my,room grabbing my favorite songs from their albums and mastered and matched each song. I don't do that anymore cause I found my voice. When I was 10 I watched Sweet Dreams and it was like Patsy Cline entered my body. I was given a gift in Jr.High and had a choir teacher teach me the mechanics of singing. Singing from that point on was my therapy, my release, my private safe world. I am now divorced and know that I must now sing out loud. I have never been in a band but I have to be in one.I am not a song writer YET! But my mind thinks like one. This singing intuition has not gone away. Its my calling. I am 5'2,brunette, slender, and I have a slight rockabilly/rocker/skater always,classy vibe. I believe I maybe a country singer but I'm a city girl. My vocals are strong, loud, yet my range is almost endless sometimes soft. I only sing from my heart which means I have to feel the words and the sounds of each note. I sing emotional cause its all I know how to be.
