ABOUT

My name is Courtney Peterman. I am 32 years old and am originally from Shelton, Connecticut. When I was very young, I realized I had a talent for singing and over the years have worked hard to nurture and develop this passion of mine.

Music fulfills me and Iove it all. I sing all styles, from country to jazz from hard rock to soul. I especially love Top 40/pop and r&b, but give me a great melody and some heartfelt lyrics and I’ll make the song my own. Some of my favorite artists are Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera, Etta James, and Carrie Underwood.

One of my proudest moments was when I was chosen as one of the top 25 finalists in the recent national Voice of Mcdonalds competition. Out of 700 competitors, I made the cut. It gave me the chance to work with industry professionals, who set me up in a recording studio and recorded a music video. You can view that video here:
