A R&B/Soul label based in texas. BSR's
founder and artist CR formed the label
8 years ago to bring his own style of
soul music to the fore-front. Starting in
2000, the label released it's first cd titled,
CR...The introduction. That 15 song cd
showcased the many different styles of
this talented musician/singer. With lead
tracks " Misery " and "Down on my knees"
the cd sold over 19,000 thousand copies.
CR formed a R&B/soul/hip-hop group
called " Soulplay ". They did very well with only word of mouth promotion.
With sales exceeding 21 thousand units,
Soulplay's " Urban Mellow " became an
instant indie hit.
2006 is shaping up to be a BIG year. With
" Love Operetta ", CR's 2nd release, set
for Jan.2oo6. And Soulplay's 2nd cd
" Black " in post-production, things are
looking great !
