39 years old, been playing approximately 31 years. I've been in a couple moderately successful local bands but I have a very busy "day job". Looking mostly to join a band with similar musical tastes and direction for about 1 practice per week and maybe 2 shows at the most per month locally (Denver to Fort Collins).

Influences
My major influence growing up was the Police, though I liked a lot of 80's pop/rock bands like INXS, Cure, Smiths. More recently, I've been very into Smashing Pumpkins and Tool. Jimmy Chamberlain and Danny Carey are two of my all-time idols, though I'd hardly say I play like either of them. I really like songs that have deep lulls that turn around quickly to huge crescendos.
EQUIPMENT
Pro gear (Tama/Zildjian) 6 piece Starclassic Performer; though in my most recent band, I scaled it down to 3 drums and hihats. Though I still have the full set.
