I am a drummer with about 40 years experience. Drums is my passion. I have done studio work in Texas for local musicians. I played the Texas music circuit for years. ( country, classic rock, rock and blues ).
I am looking for a band that enjoys making good music, great gigs, the fair circuit, clubs, and party venues. Example: weddings, private parties, etc.
It's important to enjoy playing and entertaining and have a tight sound while doing so. Want people to walk away saying " That band is awesome" !

Influences
I have so many favorite influences of drummers that there are too many to mention, but here are a few from bands: Boston, Styx, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Elton John, The Eagles, George Strait, Clint Black, Joe Walsh, Bob Seger, Brad Paisley just to mention a few. I have a lot of favorite drummers!
EQUIPMENT
Tama Swingstar 5 piece drum set. All Zildjian A Custom cymbals and I have original 14" Zildjian new beat hi-hats and a 20" sweet ride. I can sing a few songs and I can contribute back-up harmony vocals. My vocal mic is a Sennheiser E935 with a mic boom stand.
The A Custom Zildjians consist of: 14" Hi-Hats, 16" Crash, 18" Crash, 20" Medium Ride.
I also have an electric Alesis DM10 Studio Drum set. Has double triggers on each drum (head and rim) with an Alesis Active drummer monitor. Sometimes I use the Alesis with my MacBook Pro and use Addictive drums as the module sounds. Alesis kit is great for practicing music tracks with a cd or iPod. I use the electric set to rehearse songs at home without beating down the neighborhood...lol
