ABOUT

Ever aware of the failings of human language, when asked to describe his music, Craig Bancoff declines an answer, preferring to let the music speak for itself. The only thing predictable about his music is its inherent unpredictability. With many genres at its roots, Craig's music reflects elements of americana, indie, pop and can even be as eccentric as vaudeville. Always inspirational and courageous, he never fails to get to the heart of the matter. Craig’s journey into the darkness of substance addiction and recovery coupled with living with a chronic illness has been a catalyst for his compelling and transcendental art. Never afraid to explore beyond the comfort zone, he challenges the listener to feel. Listening to Craig's music is like looking at a great painting. Weaving words with soundscapes like an impressionist using a brush and canvas, the music is alive . It changes and grows with the listener. Whether happy, sad, or any emotion in between, there is always the seed of hope at the core of every song. Over the last ten years, Craig has recorded nine albums, each one very different from the other. If you are looking for a place to lay your weary head or to inspire you, you can trust that Craig's music will not let you down.
