Hi, my name's Jon, and I'm a self-taught metalhead.

I play originals that have an uplifting progressions, and like metal with high energy, that's got a catchy sound. I call it fun metal. The kind that pulls you in, not pushes you out.

Been at it since 96'. But I admit, I haven't been that dedicated (as far as practicing) for the last 5 yrs... since my job is a weekend job.

Ironically enough, I work at a major outdoor amphitheatre, which makes it hard to start a band. So as of right now my availability is strictly throughout the week.

I need a reason to leave, to start my own journey.

Since, I have worked hard to craft my sound over the years... I'm specifically in search for like minded brothers who share the same vision, to collaborate with. If I'm to sacrifice my current job for a band, I've gotta have people who are in it to win it. I bring quite the arsenal of licks and riffs...

I've just begun to brush off the cobwebs.

I would like to build this from the ground up. And I don't want a party band. I party, don't get me wrong... but I want the focus to be on the music not the perks! Been there. Done that.

I consider myself a rhythm/lead guitarist with the emphasis on the rhythm.

I have a pad in the middle of BFE, no noise ordinance, or complaints to worry about. So solid practice sessions are expected. But having that said I want this to be fun.

I'm a sound guys worst nightmare, as I gotta turn it up til the tubes crunch.

I will work on recording some of my material, so don't contact me until I can something tangible up. I want my music to speak for itself.
