ABOUT

I started playing drums at 8 and am now 27. Once I got to college I started searching for bands. Attending West Virginia University, the music in Pittsburgh is where I searched. After playing with a few bands I settled with one I felt had great chemistry and skill. We played for a couple years and were blessed to play with TRAPT in the summer of 2013 and started garnering some attention from labels. Soon after, due to an unfortunate circumstance, we disbanded and I felt joining the average joe workforce was my destiny. Though Ive had a very good job since and like my job, Ive never been able to shake my need and love to play music. Ive never been more content than when playing live music. There’s just no other feeling like it. I currently live in West Virginia, but I obviously am prepared to relocate as needed to achieve my goals.

Ive always believed that an appreciation of all genres and sub genres makes for a true well rounded musician. I also know that what makes a great drummer isn’t who plays the fastest or has the biggest drum set. You have to understand when to play hard and fast, slow and soft. When to turn up the heat, when to chill out. You have to know what drum line is gonna go with the song. I have influences from lighter bands to heavy bands and old bands to new bands and all in between. Def leppard, motley crue to breaking Benjamin and avengend sevenfold to 3 doors down and creed, I could list bands all day. It really spreads across the entire spectrum. Also believe it or not with all the rock influence, a West Virginia boy still has his love for some country too, so if your in need of a country rock drummer, feel free to give me a shot.

Ive always had great timing with and without clicks, the ability to learn rather fast and step right in. I also believe that a band is a family, you care for each other and treat other like brothers. With all this being said, Hopefully we can connect, can get something going and you can get an awesome drummer who loves music, traveling and life, and has an unmeasured amount of dedication and love for the game, and I can fulfill what I claim to be my destiny lol.

Influences

Its extremely hard to fill this section out. Ive been influenced by many bands and drummers ranging from avenged sevenfold to switchfoot from motley crue to killswitch engage. It really does span across the spectrum. I have a feel in all types of music.
