Professional band seeks same in bass player. Strong vocals, guitars and drums. 7 albums recorded between 2 current members.
If you are looking to make this your primary income this is not the band for you. We are in our 40’s have businesses and do this as a hobby, but we do it as a very serious hobby. We play the songs just as they were recorded. It is what separates us from most bands and what our audience appreciates the most from us. We require a bass player to take this serious as well.
We have an agent and do the bigger gigs. Ice Palace, State Fair and open for national acts etc. We play out anywhere from 2-4 times per month. Most of our gigs are in the daytime on weekends and usually 2 sets in length. So no more of 2am clubs and laying your head down at 4am for $75 dollars.
We are different from most bands as we don’t do staples songs. We do Nugent but not Cat Scratch Fever, we do ZZ Top but not Tush etc, you get the idea. We do the B side of albums, but songs people remember and songs most bands don’t play. It’s what separates us from your typical bands that play the same songs. Ex would be “Highway Song” from Blackfoot… “Bad Little Doggie” from Govt Mule etc.
