I’m looking for some like-minded people to play music with to either join or start a band. I’m an intermediate player and have played a few small, local gigs. I’m into doing covers and writing original songs. I’m a lyricist and have a mountain of stuff I’ve written over the years. I consider myself a rhythm drummer, not a lead drummer. I currently have an awesome rhythm guitarist and we’re looking for some interested musicians to round out a band. Would love to have someone intermediate at least to sing and a semi experienced bassist.
We’re currently playing 80’s hard rock, hair metal if anyone is interested. Our goal is to play some covers and write some originals and gig a couple times a month. We are very serious. Influences
I love everything rock related from the 60’s 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, to include radio hits, hard rock, hair metal, grunge, alternative and nu metal. I might not be able to play it, but I love it and am open to trying to learn and play any of it. Even some upbeat rockin’ country.
EQUIPMENT
I have an electronic set with an amp, acoustic/traditinal kit and a 600w PA. I have a wireless mic and backing mic set as well. Ibanez bass, 100w bass amp, and various guitars. Recently arranged a room in my house to rehearse in.
