Looking for musicians to start up a new edgy Honky Tonk band. Looking to do a Mike Ness country style band. I'm a vocalist and play rhythm guitar. I have originals and covers. Country influences include: Waylon, Haggard, George Jones, Hank Sr., Mike Ness, Hank lll, Wayne Hancock, Yoakam, Hank Jr., Buck Owens, Lefty, Tubb, Cash, etc.
Looking for upright bassist, pedal steel guitarist, drummer, and lead guitarist. Gotta dress the part. Keep it old school, honky tonk and outlaw. Play some dive bars for starters. Looking to get on the same bill with rockabilly bands. The edgy honky tonk sound should go over well with the rockabilly and roots crowd.
I'm not looking for professional musicians wanting to get paid. If you're looking for a paying gig, this is definitely not the right fit. I'm looking to play out for fun and to create music. If something good comes out of it, even better.
