Aggressive bass guitarist and showman with several years’ experience. Played on the road, studio time.
Former bassist for Rescue The Crow and Unwritten Rulz, looking to expand my horizons with new possibilities.
I’ve uploaded some of my playing here.
The first song is “Wicked”. I think this is a good example of my playing (including a one minute instrumental bass piece at the very beginning).
The second song is “Throwdown”, incorporating an envelope filter for a cool funk vibe to go along with the thick, heavy approach of the chorus.
The third file called “Seven Trumpets” is a short bass solo, with a brief tip of the hat to Jaco Pastorius at the beginning. Sure, I do bass solos, but my favorite part is making a song work.
Cover band? Interested (perhaps). Would have to be the right band with a song list of upbeat, fun covers I could enjoy playing. Got gigs lined up? I’m interested. Just now putting a cover band together from scratch and no PA? Probably not interested.
Also open to an originals band. My music is upbeat, it thumps and it makes heads bob in the audience. Looking for an equal song-writing partner?
