My acoustic guitar is my favorite. It's an Alvarez Yairi DY-59 that was handmade in 1989. I also play a Fender Telecaster with Fralin pick-ups. I use an early 1970's tubed AMPEG that has an amazingly clean tone. With the Tele, I use a Marshall Bluesbreaker pedal for boosting the AMPEG to get natural overdrive through an EQ and a compression pedal. With all that said, I'm a sucker for good tone.
