Daddys Alright

Daddy’s Alright borrows its name from the 1978 Cheap Trick hit “Surrender.” It’s no accident that the title references fathers as the group is made up of a bunch of dads with professional jobs who started out together playing music on the side to blow off steam in 2001. But what began as a jam session in Frank’s garage has morphed into a very polished and accomplished group of musicians with a passion for entertaining. The group has been wowing crowds in bars and at private parties and fundraisers for fifteen years throughout eastern North Carolina. Influenced by a wide variety of music genres, Daddy’s Alright offers up high-energy classic rock, soul, pop and dance/party music from the 60’s to the present. Their main focus is playing 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s crowd pleasers. Daddy’s Alright is available for private parties and corporate/charitable functions. They appear monthly at various pubs and restaurant/venues in the Triangle and surrounding areas.
