I've been playing piano since I was seven years old. Through junior high I taught myself to play by ear, and in high school I competed in Original Composition. I started writing music and in college I joined with a few bands at Texas Tech, had a blast but since I've been back in El Paso I haven't found any musicians that really seem into the same types of music. I'm very into Modest Mouse, Sublime... basically anything that uses more than the same 4 power chords in every song. I have plenty of my own content, but am really looking to collaborate with other minds again. It's a great experience when you can find someone that really understands you musically, and I guess I'm just looking.

EQUIPMENT
I have an ALESIS currently, no on board speakers but it runs through a PA just fine. In a few months I'm going to be buying a $3K Yamaha. However as far as recording goes the only equipment I have myself is my MacBook and GarageBand.
