songwriter..sound engineer..6 string guitar converted to bass player (recently). I just bought a bass guitar and became comfortable with it in just a couple of days..I write my own stuff and I am not super interested in learning covers. I play by ear..which is my weakness but is also one of my strengths. I think that structural formats would limit my unique style of songwriting. I am not as polished of a musician that I would like to be, but my overall creative contribution to the to the band is significant. I am coming back after ten years away from the scene and I am not sure about my confidence level at a single audition. In any case I am worth a shot. I don't get stage-fright but I feel even more comfortable in the studio. One note worth mentioning..I do not care for country music but sometimes when I write, I realize half way through the process..I am writing a country song..true story.
