ABOUT

I am the leader, songwriter,lead singer and rhythm guitarist for my band, "Dan Daniels and Your No Good Buddies". We have been around for almost 10 years and have three CD's of original music in an Americana/rock/country format. We play numerous local gigsin clubs and concert settings. I also have a separate solo career playing in Nursing homes and other type sewnior facilities.

Influences

My influences were the early rockers like Elvis, Buddy Holly and the Everly Bros., later the Beatles and the Byrds, with some early country such as Johnny Cash, then the later bands such as The Band, The Eagles, and other country-rock bands of the 70's, and finally some of the "New Traditionalsits" of the "Class of'89 in country music (Ricky Skaggs, Emmylou Harris,tec.). I've always liked the more country sounds of rock and roll, I guess because my first love of music was cowboy songs.

EQUIPMENT

I have two full PA's. A small one for small venues and solo shows and a larger one for the full band and larger settings.
