SEEKINGBand to Join, Vocalist, Drums.
I've been involved with music since I was 10 years old starting with trombone in school and now play guitar & bass.
I will expand this description at a later time.
What I will say is I'm looking for new people to jam and/or write with. Gigs aren't necessary, but would be a lot of fun.
Right now, I am getting my hands in optimal shape by learning some difficult covers that i've been trying to master.
My latest feat was figuring out the entire rhythm & lead section for Amon Amarth's "The Way of Vikings".
Message me on if you'd like, just search Daniel Wahlstrand and send me a message first as I won't respond to friend requests right away.

Our Truth (Bass Cover)
Our Truth (Bass Cover)Bass cover of Lacuna Coil's, "Our Truth".
Maggie's Farm - Bass
Maggie's Farm - BassBass cover of Rage Against The Machine's "Maggie's Farm". This is my first recording with my new LTD ESP 5-string fretless bass. I will add a guitar line later, which explains the gaps in playing. Enjoy!
The Way Of Vikings - Tk. 3 - Rhythm & Lead (LOUD)
The Way Of Vikings - Tk. 3 - Rhythm & Lead (LOUD)I apologize for the loudness & sound quality, I just really wanted to share this! My third rendition of this Amon Amarth song. A complete two part version with rhythm and lead. If you really want an exercise in finger/forearm endurance, this song is awesome (especially the rhythm part!). I plan a final 4th take with each part polished and better tone.
The Way of Vikings - Take 2
The Way of Vikings - Take 2A second take on this great song from Amon Amarth. I consider this a mastery, but also realize I'm blending some of the lead in there especially during the pre-chorus'. I will be uploading a third installment which will have the rhythm guitar playing the right parts(lol) and will include the lead accompaniment. Enjoy!
King Of The Hill
King Of The HillA silly B-Tuned, compressed metal rendition of the King of the Hill theme.
Tool - Schism (bass Cover)
Tool - Schism (bass Cover)This is a rough cover of Tool's Schism baseline. I know not all parts are correct, but I'm pretty close. Hope you enjoy!
Yen - v2
Yen - v2This song was written to capture that feeling of yearning that someone has for something that will never be or is out of their grasp.
Yen (no bass)
Yen (no bass)A sad song written at a low point. This is a tribute to all of the people that have left our lives too soon, for whatever reason. The V2 track contains a fretless bass accompaniment.
UndisputedOriginally an unrehearsed recording testing out my Line6 Uber Metal distortion pedal. It came out pretty well! Give it a listen.
Nutshell (Alice in Chains cover)
Nutshell (Alice in Chains cover)Three-piece cover of Nutshell by Alice in Chains. Two acoustic guitar tracks and one fretless bass track. I used the AIC unplugged version of this song to set the tempo and the solo is a note-for-note copy. I used a buddy's Ovation Celebrity for the acoustic tracks, there's no way my Alvarez could have sounded that good.
