The New Tricksters

Vocalist - Tenor, Vocalist, Vocalist - Alto, Mandolin, Lead Guitar, Fiddle, Bass Guitar, Banjo, Acoustic Guitar.

Looking to form or join a 3 or 4 piece folk rock band along the lines of Crosby, Stills and Nash. Most likely 2 guitars, plus banjo, fiddle or mandolin and a bass that would practice once a week. Easy to travel, near Hampstead, easy to practice. I want hang with people who are (50 ish?) dependable and considerate.
I am available Friday night or Sunday late afternoon or night. I'd like to put together a couple sets that are fairly eclectic and cover the 50s through present. More focus on the older stuff but also some newer songs to keep the youngsters interested. Lots of harmonies and a few surprises for the listeners. I am pretty good at marketing a band and would build a logo and site with pics and mp3s. Eventually book a few gigs, probably just 6 or 8 a year. Maybe first, a few open mikes to hone the performance. I am also interested in recording for that group and maybe making a CD with the best of the covers we would do and a few originals written together.
