songs for seeds is a rockin' music program for children newborn to 6-years old that has already engaged thousands of kids through its completely unique and interactive curriculum. Led by a 3-piece live band (guitar, keyboard and drums), songs for seeds has been named NYC’s most popular kids music class.
The songs for seeds band puts on interactive, educational rock classes for children newborn to 6-years old. Band members lead regularly scheduled weekly classes. Classes are held during the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm so it is an ideal job for a musician looking for daytime work. The biggest perks of this job include exposing children to live music often for the very first time, working with other highly talented musicians, and honing your musical craft week after week. Additional opportunities include performing at birthday parties and events.
Ideal candidates must: - demonstrate accomplished guitar AND vocal skills, keyboard AND vocal skills or percussion skills
- possess a playful, patient and friendly attitude toward children - be an entertainer and possess a willingness to have fun and be silly - care about making a difference in a child's life through the power of music
