ABOUT

I am the front man and band manager for a very popular Modern country band "Something Country" that I formed over a year ago. With over 1200 likes and follows on Facebook and Gigs on the books that were supposed to start now postponed and rescheduled because of the pandemic. My band is a collection of very experienced and very skilled musicians some of which played together in another Modern country band here in the DMV prior to joining my band. Something Country needs an expert lead guitarist that can learn three sets of music (all modern "radio" country hits) that we have put together. Many songs have two guitar parts and sometimes two lead parts for any given song. We use Six String Country to get up to speed on learning the parts and it is expected that the guitarist will learn and master his/her own part using our shared account. Our group was to debut at the end of May but unfortunately we lost a member and we are also now facing the pandemic. This however gives us time to regroup and will allow us time to find our new guitarist through screening and video conferencing. Once we have our new guitarist we hope up to get up to speed quickly as all band members are expected to learn his/her own parts in all the songs to keep our momentum so when we rehearse we are all prepared. Our variety of songs from the outstanding selection of Modern country Artists listed below has given us a great collection to use at the shows. We are excited that our brand of music as it has done in former bands together will entertain the huge Modern country music fan base even here in the DMV. We have videos and check out our FB page with over 1200 likes and follows. Pretty remarkable popularity for a new project that has yet to play our own full 3 set debut! We plan on at least two Gigs a month to many fine local establishments. My band uses Pro equipment and in addition to our star musicians (Drums, bass player/vocalist, second guitarist and myself as front man/Lead vocalist/band manager, we also have our own sound engineer extraordinaire that even attends our once a week rehearsals in my beautiful scenic Music studio here in Mount Vernon, VA. We will be 5 on stage with 6th person our sound engineer to complete our band. Please reach out to me if you feel you might be a fit for my band and what I described. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile! Be Safe. God Bless
