Multi-instrumentalist songwriter looking to start/join a project. I'm 27. I have over 100 completed songs written.
Most of my experience is on guitar and vocals, but am also a drummer, and can read music, so I can dabble on the keys and bass a little as well.
I think I would serve best as a rhythm guitarist, backing vocalist and primary songwriter in a band.
The typical format of the songs I write are (structurally) pop songs with a catchy, sing-along chorus, on a wide variety of subjects and emotional content. The styles I write in are Punk, Folk, Americana, Blues... Most types of Rock. I'm sure we'll develop our own sound for the songs.
Looking for: Lead instrumentalist(s): guitar, keyboardist, banjo, steel guitar. Any one or combination
Bass Instrumentalist: Regular or standup
Drummer: Someone who is capable of playing multiple types of percussion
Lead Vocalist: Preferably a soprano or alto (probably female?) I sing good, and can maybe do lead vocals on a couple songs (I always loved bands with alternating vocalists) but think I'd fit the backing role better than lead. My vocals are on the low end, so I would love to team up with a higher vocal range.
I know I'm asking for a lot, but if this message speaks to anyone looking to start a similar project, or if you're a band that fits the description in need of a songwriter, I'd love to meet up with you and play you some of my songs.
If the project looks like it has potential to go places, I am willing to commit to it 100% full time.
