Wasup everybody. Welcome to my page. My name is danny and Ive been playin music all my life. Ive been a drummer since the age of 2 and a piano player since I was 13. Im happy to say that I am not a picky musician. I love all styles of music and can play most of them very well. Fortunately, I grew up in church where I was able to sharpen my skills and become fluent in the styles of gospel, contemporary christian, alternative, latin and r&b. Music for me is not only a gift or a passion but it is a full time job as well. Although, like in many other musician's cases, I havent gotten to my ideal salary yet. As far as drums goes, my influences have been players such as, Carter Beauford, Tony Royster Jr., Vinnie Coliouta, Calvin Rodgers, Spanky, Big Mike Clemens, Varro, Marvin McQuitty, Gerald Hayward, Teddy Campbell, Aaron Spears, Sput, John Blackwell, Horacio El Negro Hernandez, Dave Weckl, Steve Smith, Steve Gadd, and TONS more.
EQUIPMENT
Right now Im runnin with an all birch shell 6 piece Pearl kit. A 5.5x14 in' masterworks all maple snare. 2 crashes, 2 splashes, 1 ride and an alt. snare.
As far as keys goes, Im playin a Yamaha Motif ES8 and a Roland JV-90.
