ABOUT

Lead guitarist looking to join or collaborate with a local progressive metal band. Metal is my preference, but I'm open to collaborate for most other genres.

Many of my recordings are old and my videos are improvised. I'd post more but I spend more time writing and playing than I do recording. Rest assured that my equipment and skill level have improved.

I'm really looking for a LOCAL band I can write and jam with. I'd also be open to working with and collaborating on existing music from other musicians, remotely, using recording software. I'm not necessarily looking to gig unless we really nail down some original tracks. I'm looking for a group of musicians I can really mesh well with, musically and personally.

It also really helps if you at least have a few sample tracks. They don't need to be professionally recorded; it's just to get an idea of your sound.

If you think this is you, contact me at iamdanonymous at gee mail dot com.

EQUIPMENT

Instruments:

Schecter C7 Hellraiser (7 string), Dean MAB2 Aviator (6 string), Ibanez Gio bass (5 string), Ibanez S series 540 ltd. (6 string), Ibanez Talman acoustic/electric, Yamaha EX5 keyboard/music workstation.

Gear:

Fractal Axe-Fx II effects unit, Fractal MFC101 foot controller, Matrix GT1000FX power amp, Matrix Neolight NL212 (2x12) cab, Boss GT-6 effects pedal, Boss RC-50 Loop Station, etc.

Ideal Tunings:

Drop C - (C G C F A D)

I do currently have other guitars tuned to the following:

D Standard - (D G C F A D)

E Standard - (E A D G B E)

I also have a hard-tail 7 string, which I can pretty much tune to different tunings on the fly; it's just not my preferred guitar.

I'm open to other tunings if the material calls for it.
