ABOUT

Hey. I'm a guy who lives in Suffolk who wants to start playing with other people some more in a live band session.
For a basic description, I'm 24, played guitar and made electronic stuff moderately through high school, went to college and got real busy (but still played as well as made some fun stuff with fl studio for electronic music). Now I've got a full time, and they don't exactly assign homework, so I'd love to get some more experience.

Basically what I'm looking for are some people who will be down for some playing, be honest with my skill, and be patient with me as I'd be very determined to meet whatever level you need if it meant I get to start playing with a band. I'm not joking when I say I love all kinds of music, and I'd be very happy to get exposed to different ways of musical expression.

Ideally, I'd love to join a band as a guitarist and/or vocalist even though I'm not experienced in playing with a band. Again though, you can propose whatever you think I might be able to help you with.

Even if we don't end up playing, go ahead and reach out. It'd be great to get to know some creative people.

Influences

For rock/metal/pop/songwriting, Zappa, Bowie, Weezer (blue and pinkerton), Protest the Hero, Animals as Leaders (though I'm nowhere near as talented as the guitarists from the last two bands) and as a bonus, Breaking Benjamin was one of my favorites when I was in high school.

For more electronic type stuff, deadmau5, Animal Collective, video game music, boards of canada, just anything.

EQUIPMENT

Guitar: Ibanez something, and an acoustic one too, whatever
Bass: Shitty 100$ bass I got from someone else who didn't want to play it anymore
Piano: Yamaha I use mostly to play synths on my DAWs
Big ol' Genz Benz amp with two speakers.

FL Studio: my favorite in terms of electronic music making .I've got some ok foundations in producing that stuff.
