Hi everyone!
Okay, here's the scoop: my wife Bree (25) and I (22) have always wanted to be part of a band. Music has always been a big part of our lives. My favorite genre is rock (Led Zeppelin, Slipknot, AC/DC, etc), but also enjoy 70's, 80's, and 90's music. Bree enjoys similar music, but with some differences. I know how to play drums (basic level, mind you, but am still learning), and Bree is a guitarist/pianist. I have no knowledge of theory, but she does. We definitely want to collaborate with other musicians to form a band that we are all happy with.
Our goal here is to meet people to jam/have fun with, and try to create a band that will have an impact on people's lives!
We are looking for 20+ yo, preferably in the area, or nearby. We're looking for a bassist, singer, and guitarist. Our preferred music genres are rock, as well as 80's synth. However, we are open to other genres.
We have wanted to form a band that has LGBTQ+ members because we know how hard it can be sometimes and like the idea of having music as an outlet, especially with members that identify as LGBTQ+. Looking forward to hearing from you. :)
