ABOUT

Hello I'm Brian Rotella. I am the founder and co-owner of Dark Moon. I am a Musician, Audio Engineer, Recording Technician and Songwriter, in addition to the Head of Research and Development. Music has been my life since I was a child. My grandparents Richard and Nancy gave me support and nurtured my love for music. Without them, I would not be the musician or man I am today. I have spent my life studying guitar, percussion, and bass, along with the emotions and science of all types of music and genres. I am always learning and experimenting with an open heart and mind. Some of my early influences were Bluegrass picking, Country, Rock, Blues and Metal. I feel inspired by everything from Lynyrd Skynyrd, Brad Paisley, Brent Mason, Dan Huff, Paramore, and SRV to Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift, just to name a few! I can't express enough how much I strive for that "sound," that "thing" that I have literally spent my life dreaming about. I have recorded, mixed and mastered hundreds of songs. I have completed three solo Albums, all written, performed and recorded by myself. I have composed several Instrumentals in many different styles, from Chickin' Pickin' to Southern Rock and Swamp Music. Gear?? You want gear? Well...
