• your own reliable transportation
• professional, quality guitar rig (tube amps sound way better, right?)
• punctuality
• ability to do enthusiastic backing/gang vocals (shouting in time, pretty much)
• ability to learn by ear (no need to be perfect, but get in the ballpark)
