ABOUT

I've been playing mostly guitar for over 15 years. Currently I'm working on just improving overall as a musician by producing my own work out of my house. I've also been working on Blues and Jazz progressions as far as the guitar is concerned most recently. I've of course picked up many other instruments along my musical journey.

Influences

My Dad is my main influence. He had a band in the Fort Walton Beach area when I was much younger before he was killed in a motorcycle accident. After him it's been anything down the classic and southern rock genres from Zepplin to Hendrix to CCR and just about anything that involved guitars from the 60's thru the 80's. Modern influences would be from Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age and Them Crooked Vultures. and Dave Grohl from Nirvana and Foo Fighters. I've had a guitar for pretty much my entire life but I started taking it more seriously in high school where I pretty much started to teach myself by copying riffs from 311 and southern Cal punk rock bands.

Custom built super strat with active EMG pickups. Silvertone 60's model (currently being refurbished) Custom 60's or 70's SG (also being refurbished). A bunch of effects pedals and a couple multi effects processors. Line 6 Toneport audio interface for recording. Fender Rumble 60 watt bass amp and Fender mustang II guitar amp, Korg X-2 electric keyboard, djambi drum, 5-string banjo, acoustic guitars (one cutaway one not), and 4 string Hondo bass guitar.
